Matt brandishes a large marshmallow gun.

MATT:

Hey, does anybody want a marshmallow?

Eli raises his hand.

A single shot is heard.

Bavarian Creme Donut

with one comment

I ask for Boston Creme.
It is the queen of donuts.
But, a dark surprise.

This Creme: Bavar’n.
Origin: European.
Not American.

Do you know how far
Boston is from Bavaria?
Pretty far, I think.

I asked Google Maps
“Can’t find directions.”
“There is an ocean.”

Cinnamon Cookies w/Caramel Cookie Sauce

leave a comment »

Forward, ladies and gentlemen!
To a shining new future
of Cake Sauce, Donut Sauce,
perhaps the savories; Sandwich Sauce,
Fish Sauce (no, that’s a thing), Sausage Sauce,
Vegetables Sauce, Stew Sauce.

Ah, how man’s achievements climb,
each food perfectly matched to a liquid complement, until, one numinous day,
Cookie Sauce Sauce, ad infinitum.

Ben & Jerry’s (Everything But The…™ )

In the year 2000 you were bought by (multinational food giant) Unilever.
In a 2003 interview (with the Boston Phoenix) you said it felt strange, now.
In a (well-heated) dorm room it came out like one gelatinous mass into the bowl.

Probably we left it too long in the car.
